Yesterday I was out riding and we had been talking about Teepee rings and Indian graves and stuff and I know there are some rings on our place but I was unsure of where. I kinda knew they would be out on top of the coulees so I figured I would just goo look for them one day. Yesterday was it. I went down to the far end and just rode at the top of the coulees and this is what I saw. Its kinda hard to tell, but the rocks are suspiciously circular even if there are a lot of other rocks around, just doesn't look natural. The first pic is better even if Jessie got her head in the way but you can actually see how it is built up around the rings.
I came home and told Neil I seen it and he didn't know there was one there, the only one he knows of are farther North in another pasture, but he said it sure looks like that could be one too and he noticed it out there but didn't think of a Teepee ting before. I am gonna have to look in the North Pasture and check one say the ones out there.

Fascinating , I love exploring for things ! Have a good day !
Really gives you a sense of the history of the land you take for granted when you come across the evidence of those who were there long ago.
Very cool!
That's really interesting. I guess I made my own tee-pee ring the other day when I raked a bunch of rocks into a circle with the intention of picking them up, but got too tired to finish the job. When I was a kid, I vacationed at Mammoth Lakes during the summer months, and my brother and I found several obsidian arrowheads.
