Okay so this week we have to get some pictures of glass. I went for breakfast at Lu's house on Friday morning and she has a whole cabinet of glass and I never even thought to get a picture. So Saturday we took the steam train from Stettler to Big Valley and I got these from that trip.
First was a glass fish in the fudge shop.
Then was an old signal lantern from the train
Then a conductors lantern
And lastly my reflection in the window as I was taking a picture.

That glass fish is really neat but I really like the creativity of the last photo.
I love the lanterns, the hubbies great grandfather was part of the Erie railroad!
Good job! A steam train? My dad and grandfather both worked on the railroad back then.
I love the glass fish. Sweet. :)
Back prior to 1950 I had some relatives that worked for the railroad in Illinois.
train signal lights - why didn't I think of that, with the ones I saw yesterday??
nice glass fish. I have a small collection of them, myself.

Good job....I've always wanted to do that trip....maybe net year.
I love that steam train ride...I guess it's been over ten years since I was on it...but I loved it nonetheless!
