So the big anniversary date was on Saturday and it was a lot of work to put together and prepare, but it was a good time and no major glitches. We had the tents and tables set up in plenty of time and we went a got some helium balloons.
One of the other things that happened at the party was we got the 100 year plaques for having homesteaded on the same place. We actually got two, the Girduckis one and the Dornan one, cause one was Neil's Dad and one his Grampa and we own both places.
There were lots of people there (about 50) and we had a wonderful prime rib dinner with salads and it was sooo good. There was no real schedule, just come and eat and visit and have a few drinks. Nice and relaxing and not too long.
I guess thier 25th party was out at the farm and was a huge party of over 200 and it lasted till the next morning. This was not wanted to be that way and everyone is much older so it was and afternoon/evening party.
Some of the original wedding party was there which was kinda cool too. Neil's Moms bridesmade, Della, and Neil's Dad's best mad, Jim. The coolest thing is they still get together quite a bit with them, so I guess they picked well.
