Usually while Stampede is on the saskatoons in the creek are ready for picking. We went down to check on them and they are not ready, a few are close but another week I expect till the majority are ready but we wandered around and looked at other stuff too.
Saw some creek hills that had yellow sunlight on them while the bottom was in the shade and looked so green still
Saw a foxglove like flower that was growing wild
And I think a bluebell, although was pretty pale, almost purple
And a bird I didn't recognize sitting in the old garden
Lots of Silver Willow
And some young whitetail deer
Was a good trip, the mosquitoes weren't even that bad
Feel free to use any pictures you would like from my blog, but I would like recognition please!

Deer
I changed by Internet browser the other day to Google Chrome and I have to say I love it, don't know why I stayed with Internet Explorer so long. Except maybe it was familiar and easy. But wow chrome is so much faster and easier and with less crashes as well, so I am sticking with it for now. But in the meantime of course all my favorites were stored in IE and now I am having trouble trying to find them. It also made me realize my blog list on the sidebar is way out of date, there are blogs on there that I don't read anymore, lots I do read that aren't there, and some who don't post anymore are still on there. So while finding my favorites I will be trying to update that as well.
Just had to share these couple pics of the deer that are coming in our yard at night. They are kinda a nuisance and they are getting braver and braver cause they used to wait till after dark till they ventured in, but this was still pretty light out.
But thier hearing is still pretty spot on cause as soon as Neil touched the door handle to open the door, they were gone!

Weirdness
The last couple mornigs I have gone out to do my chores (which aren't really chores cause I get to see the ponies) I have noticed weird footprints in the snow.
I took a couple pictures and seen that yes they are deer tracks, but it seems weird cause we have never had deer in the yard before, in the hay bales, but not right in front of the house.
So Wednesday when I went after supper to the neighbors, I seen what was causing it all. We have 5 baby deer (from this year) hanging around. They must have found the oats under the bin and are eating them and have no moms to tell them its not good to be in peoples yards.
I feel like the woodland Santa without the woods, lol. We also have a lot of bunnies on our road, I laugh and tell everyone we live on Bunny Lane cause there are always rabbits running up and down the roads.
Also yesterday morning our cats had a standoff. It was pretty weird. There was no noise and no fighting, just a standoff.
The black and white one (Fluffer) eventually after about 10 minutes, kinda creeped slowly away while the Siamese Tabby (Nintendo) stayed and watched him leave.
