Sunday Stills-Potluck

This week we get to pick our own selection of pictures.  This is always a fun one and since I have missed a few Sunday Stills lately, I thought this would be the perfect one to get back into it.  First we have a crabapple tree in the garden.  It is just starting to bloom and I don't know why but I love taking pictures of this tree, with blooms on, apples, or even in the winter with just banches.

Then this other tree in the garden that has been here for a long time but noone knew what it was, and I like it cause it has purpley leaves.

And this spring for the first time ever it bloomed!  It has pretty pink flowers on it!  I still don't know what it is but sure should make it easier to identify. Im still thinking some kind of apple.

Oh and the lilacs are starting to bloom.  Should be really pretty when we go to brand on Monday.  If we dont get rained out.

For more, sheck out Sunday Stills.

It keeps raining here as well, every ones a little tired of it.....you have a great week.

I agree, crabapples make great photo subjects all year!

I'm also thinking that is a crabapple tree, and I love the lilac. I have a very young one that is struggling to make it. :)

Hmmm, that mystery tree reminds me of our purple leaf plum tree we had in our front yard at our last house. You must be getting some good moisture to have all those blooms and lilacs. Care to share?

Yup, the pink one would be what we call a crab apple too. Hope branding is dry and share photos will ya?! Our lilacs too are JUST starting to bloom and looks like another bumper crop of them this year - YAY!
