Weekend in Great Falls

This weekend, me and Jardi and Charlene drove down to Great Falls to get our Christmas shopping done.  It was awesome,  I am almost done my shopping for this year, except a couple, my Mom and my one Aunt, but I know what I am getting the aunt, its my Mom I am stumped on.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn and it was a pretty nice place and it included a $20 breakfast voucher for in the restaurant there which is pretty nice to have a real breakfast instead of just continental.

We spent all day Saturday shopping and went to quite a few stores.  Charlene got almost all her stuff done as well, Jardi has a few more to get yet, but since shes not really a shopper,  its a good start for her as well.

We never did any touristy stuff, because we were too exhausted after a long day, we had supper then went to the hotel and watched Santa Clause 2, I had never seen it and it was pretty cute, then we fell asleep at 10, what partiers we are, haha.  Me and Charlene tried to go to a casino and I tried to tell her they aren't what she is thinking of a casino, at the first one, there was some big fight on and everyone was in the bar watching this fight, and the next one was a little bigger but still only about 10 machines all to play keno and poker.  She was hoping more like a regular slot machine type and a real casino, not just a few machines in every place we stop at.

My boots are awesome!  I love them soo much I wore them home, lol.  I also looked at a brown and lime green pair and almost got them as well, but they weren't as noticeable, the green kinda blended into the brown on the bottoms, so I went with the pink which was good too cause I love pink :)

I also got a carhart jacket, a pair of lined jeans and a pair of unlined jeans for myself, but that is all I bought for myself cause its just before Christmas.  We would like to go back in the spring so we can buy for ourselves too.  And Jardi will need more wormer by then too, so we will need to go back.

Nice boots! It's always nice to have a getaway with friends, especially for shopping with no guys around rushing you.

Good looking boots. I bet you look great in them.
Sounds like you had a great time with your friends and got some good shopping done, too.
You oughta come down to New Mexico. The Pueblo Indians in our state know how to run some really nice casinos.

I had to look closer at that green headed buffalo? with the scarf - lol

I always think of casinos as all you can buffet saefood places - thats what we had in NW Wisconsin.

Love the boots!! and you can never go wrong buying for yourself -you are not alone teehee!
